We have snow today in the ATL. It started falling this morning and just started accumulating and accumulating. There is thunder with this snow (also known as thundersnow). It kind of gives a different feel to the snow because you have the quiet of snow, interrupted by a bout of thunder. I just hope the snow is off the roads by tomorrow as I have an interview downtown.

Campus health care was already so/so, but now the free HIV testing on campus has be done away with. Students without cars now have to go off campus to clinics that are extremely difficult to get to if you don't have transportation. I thought it was a new step in HIV awareness campaign to get younger people to go get tested. It seems a little contradicting to me.

It seems as if this will be the first X-mas without TN friends, family, or cold weather. During our five minute meeting at Bubbas the other day, we were told that the corporation has put up something like $100,000 for the other Bubbas in New Orleans. Employees are supposed to give money and raise money from customers to match. As of then, only 23 of 124 employees had been found. Now the number is half, but most of them have no possesions and we still have of 60 missing. So sad.
